Jim Clardy served as a Venture Partner at Austin Ventures from 1998 to 2009. Prior to joining AV, Jim served as President of Cirrus Logic from 1992 to 1998. He co-founded and was CEO of Crystal Semiconductor which was later acquired by Cirrus Logic (NASDAQ: CRUS). Before that, he spent time at Harris Semiconductor, Texas Instruments, and ARO. He was named Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 1995 and earned a Lifetime Achievement award in Technology by AEA’s Austin Chapter in 1997.
